Product Overview

Taikang Hong Kong USD Money Market ETF is a sub-fund of Taikang Hong Kong ETF Series, an umbrella unit trust established under Hong Kong law by a trust deed dated 7 January 2026 and authorised by the SFC as a collective investment scheme under section 104 of the SFO. It is an actively managed exchange traded fund falling within Chapters 8.2 and 8.10 of the Code on Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds. The Sub-Fund invests in short-term deposits and high quality money market instruments and seeks a return in USD in line with prevailing money market rates. EX.IO distributes the non-tokenised Unlisted Class A-USD units, which are dealt daily at the next-determined dealing-day-end NAV. Purchase of a unit is not the same as placing funds on deposit with a bank; the Sub-Fund does not have a constant NAV and does not guarantee repayment of principal.

Derivative Exposure Details
The underlying assets are not themselves derivative products. The Sub-Fund may invest in financial derivative instruments for hedging purposes only and not for investment purposes. Any material currency risk arising from non-USD denominated investments will be appropriately hedged into USD. The Sub-Fund's net derivative exposure may be up to 50% of its Net Asset Value.
Investment Objective
The Sub-Fund's objective is to invest in short-term deposits and high quality money market instruments. The Sub-Fund seeks to achieve a return in USD in line with prevailing money market rates.
Investment Strategy
The Sub-Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily, being not less than 70% of its Net Asset Value, in USD denominated and settled short-term deposits and high quality money market instruments issued by governments, quasi-governments, international organisations, financial institutions and corporations. It is actively managed and does not seek to track any index or benchmark. In assessing whether a money market instrument is of high quality the Manager takes into account, at a minimum, the credit quality and the liquidity profile of the instrument, and conducts its own quantitative and qualitative assessment of the issuer's credit fundamentals in addition to agency ratings. There is no specific geographical allocation. The portfolio is maintained with a weighted average maturity not exceeding 60 days and a weighted average life not exceeding 120 days, and no instrument with a remaining maturity of more than 397 days, or two years in the case of Government and other public securities, will be purchased.
Investment Restriction
Investment grade only: long-term fixed income securities rated BBB-/Baa3 or above and short-term instruments rated F3/P-3/A-3 or above; the Sub-Fund will not invest in unrated or low-investment grade money market instruments. Less than 30% of Net Asset Value may be held in short-term deposits issued in Mainland China. The aggregate holding of instruments and deposits issued by a single entity will not exceed 10% of Net Asset Value, save that this may be increased to 25% where the entity is a substantial financial institution, or up to 30% in the same issue of Government and other public securities. Up to 10% of Net Asset Value may be invested in money market funds authorised by the SFC or comparably regulated. The Sub-Fund will not invest in convertible bonds or in instruments with loss-absorption features, will not enter into securities lending or reverse repurchase transactions, and will not make short sales. Sale and repurchase transactions are permitted only on a temporary basis mainly to meet redemption requests and, when aggregated with borrowing, are capped at 10% of Net Asset Value. Borrowing is limited to 10% of Net Asset Value on a temporary basis. Financial derivative instruments may be used for hedging purposes only, with net derivative exposure of up to 50% of Net Asset Value.
