Why is the suitability assessment questionnaire necessary?

The suitability assessment questionnaire involves evaluating a client’s investment risk profile and their understanding of Virtual Assets. As outlined in paragraph 5.1 of the Hong Kong SFC’s Code of Conduct, it is necessary to reasonably determine the client’s financial status, investment background, and investment goals.
