About AUSD
AUSD is a 1:1 fiat-backed stablecoin pegged to the U.S. dollar, issued by Agora Bermuda Limited. According to information provided by the issuer, AUSD is 100% backed by the Agora Reserve Fund, which consists of short-term U.S. Treasury bills, U.S. government-guaranteed debt instruments, U.S. dollars and stablecoins.
The issuer states that AUSD features institutional-grade infrastructure: reserve assets are managed by VanEck, an asset management firm, with cash custody and fund administration provided by State Street, one of the world’s largest custodian banks. Furthermore, AUSD provides daily Proof-of-Reserves, ensuring institutional-grade transparency and security for the assets (please visit https://docs.agora.finance/developer/transparency for more details).
