EX.IO & Arco Sign Strategic MOU to Expand Tokenized RWA Distribution Across Asia
Collaboration to begin in Korea, combining EX.IO’s RWA product offering with Arco’s multichain distribution infrastructure
Scope includes tokenized U.S. Treasuries, money market funds, private credit, and fixed-income products
(September 15th, 2026, Seoul & Hong Kong) Arco, a real-world asset (RWA) platform developed by Undefined Labs, and EX.IO, a leading Hong Kong-licensed virtual asset trading platform, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to explore strategic collaboration on the institutional adoption and distribution of tokenized RWAs across Asia, beginning with the Korean market.

The rationale is straightforward: one side already has the product and the full issuance-to-distribution stack; the other already has the onchain rails and the Korean institutional door. EX.IO’s parent group operates full-stack RWA capabilities covering origination, structuring, issuance, and regulated distribution. On the platform itself, EX.IO has listed more than 30 tokenized RWA products — with underlying assets spanning gold, silver, equities, and fixed income — giving it a commanding lead over other licensed market participants in Hong Kong. Arco, developed by Undefined Labs, is built as the operating layer for tokenized fund issuance and multichain distribution, connecting global product providers with institutional capital, protocol treasuries, and onchain liquidity, and bringing an established Korean institutional network to the first phase of the rollout.
The MOU therefore sets a framework to put EX.IO’s live RWA product book and licensed platform infrastructure onto Arco’s onchain distribution layer, so these products can reach qualified institutional channels and onchain capital across Asia.Under the proposed collaboration, EX.IO will distribute its tokenized RWA product offering and platform infrastructure, covering tokenized U.S. Treasuries, money market funds, private credit, and fixed-income products to Arco subject to regulatory approval.
Arco’s intended role is to serve as EX.IO’s onchain distribution layer, enabling access to these products across multiple blockchain networks and qualified institutional channels in Asia. This includes connecting EX.IO’s RWA offering with onchain capital, protocol treasuries, and decentralized finance liquidity, subject to applicable product and investor eligibility requirements.
The first phase will focus on Korea, where Arco will leverage its local network to support EX.IO’s institutional business development and identify demand for tokenized financial products. The companies will explore opportunities with Korean financial institutions and other qualified market participants, with further expansion into Asian markets, blockchain networks, and distribution channels subject to mutual agreement.
Beyond product distribution, the MOU outlines joint efforts to develop institutional demand through research, events, and co-marketing to the companies’ respective client bases. These activities are intended to help translate institutional interest into concrete product use cases and business opportunities.
“The RWA market is booming, and participants like EX.IO & Arco is building what that market has needed for some time: an onchain distribution layer that institutions can actually use – especially in Asia,” said Chen Wu, Co-founder and CEO of EX.IO, “Tokenization is moving from proof of concept to market infrastructure. The next constraint is no longer whether high-quality real-world assets can be issued on-chain, but whether they can travel – across borders, across chains, and into the accounts where capital already sits. EX.IO’s role in that stack is the regulated distributor in Hong Kong, and Arco’s role is to take those products into multichain distribution and Korean institutional channels. This MOU is how those two layers begin to work as one, and we look forward to turning the framework into concrete distribution across Asia.”
“Our goal is to make institutional RWA products accessible through the blockchain networks and distribution channels where capital is already active,” said Mike Mu, CEO of Arco. “By combining EX.IO’s product offering with Arco’s onchain distribution infrastructure and Korean institutional network, we aim to build practical distribution opportunities in Korea and expand that collaboration across Asia.”
The MOU sets out areas for further evaluation and discussion. Specific product availability, implementation arrangements, and launch timelines will be determined through subsequent agreements and applicable regulatory and eligibility reviews.
