⚠️ Important Security Notice: Beware of EX.IO Impersonation Scams

Posted 2026-05-29

It has come to light that fraudulent websites and malicious mobile applications are currently circulating online, falsely operating under the name and branding of EX.IO. These imposters are designed to steal user credentials, personal data, and funds.

Protecting account security is an absolute priority. Please take a moment to review the official safety protocols below to ensure accounts remain protected.

How to Spot a Fake

  • Check the URL: Phishing sites often use slight misspellings or different domain extensions. Always double-check that the browser address bar reads exactly: https://www.ex.io/
  • Mobile Apps: Never install apps from third-party links, direct messages, or unverified downloads (such as external APKs).
  • False Urgency: Scammers often create a false sense of urgency, claiming an account will be locked or suspended unless a user logs in immediately or provides sensitive data.

The Golden Rules of Security

  • EX.IO will NEVER ask for passwords, 2FA codes, or private keys. Anyone requesting this information—even if they claim to be “support staff”—is a scammer.
  • EX.IO does not offer direct technical support via unsolicited private messages on Telegram, WhatsApp, or other social media networks.

What to do if a scam is suspected:

  • Do not interact with the fraudulent website or application.
  • Do not enter any login credentials, recovery phrases, or financial information.
  • Report the fraudulent URL or application immediately to cs@ex.io the official ex.io support channel.

Stay vigilant and stay safe,

The EX.IO Team
